Fairytale, really?
but it was never meant to be a fairytale. life's not perfect, life has its ups and its downs. what we have is more than a perfect story. we have a lifestory.

in life there's sure to be sorrow and disappointments. but its the darkness that makes the moon and stars shine brighter. and we know that through it all, we can trust that God's there for us. lighting up our life paths even at its darkest hours. bringing us unfathomable joy.
because He himself is Hope.

each chapter, each episode recording genuine feelings and thoughts as a Child of God goes through the rollercoaster of life. and how the Grace of God still leaves her amazed and humbled, each time.

"even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings like eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not be faint." (isaiah 40:30-31)

even the strongest burning flames can be easily extinguished. even the strongest man fall (or woman, lol can hear stewart protesting already...) anyway yeah.

remember how we were so in love in seramban? "from the rising of the broom to the going down of the same, the Lord's name is to be praised..." remember? we all sang with our hearts as we scrubbed the drains to the best we can until we ached all over. but we had each other, we had God, we were content. (:

remember our plucking grass? LOL. "GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH!!!" we'd shout. and then suddenly mad plucking of grass and shouting "GOD'S GIVING ME STRENGTH!!!" hahaha.

"my dear brothers, stand firm. let nothing move you, always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, for you know your labor in the Lord is not in vain." 1 Cor 15:58. wow. hahaha, i still remember those times we just crapped out and came up with weird praise and worship songs. but we meant it.

remember when we were leaders and finally got to sleep in the master bedroom? HAHAHA, we went nuts. trying to act like pastor bess. being firm and not fierce to get the people to bed. (: HAHA! so fun. "girls. i'm telling you one last time to go and sleep." awwww, and i was getting high on Delfi mints. ohman. i really. miss those times.

i'd like to say i'm sorry firstly. :X for missing youth. i know many times i chose to go service over youth and i'm sorry! i shouldnt have. love you all. really do. hahaha. i was really glad when you all said that you're gonna revive our cg! really hope the flame can be rekindled once more.

lastly, heb 10:24-25. "and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and goodworks, not forgetting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

hahaha. remember our frantic last minute memorising of our memory verses? (: those times were the best.

i really feel so much more joyful nowadays. just surrendering everything to God. well sometimes i forget of course. but i feel so much more free! hahaha, just sitting here typing this. i feel so happy and light-headed i'm laughing softly to myself. (no i'm not nuts.) i'm just insanely happy. hahaha. and, i dont know. its just. so relaxing. hahaha!
