Okay so it's been quite a while since I posted, not counting yesterday's post.

Life has been good cause God has been great. (:

12 July: Pre-smux dinner! Met up with my groupies! Extremely fun bunch of people. Moral too. Hahaha! Made me excited for SMUX!

14-16 July: SMUX camp! Tried out diving trekking stuntskating nightbiking and lasertag (in school!) Hahaha had such a fun time. Everyone there is almost like family. 'no judging ah! SMUX eh.' Hahaha even after camp v easy to banter with them. (: And oops supposed to plan outing for them. :P But organizer herself has no free dates opened up so far! But yes despite getting our tents soaked in rain and a lack of wet weather plan, my group made it damn fun for me. (:

16-22 July: Really there's not much to say but to proclaim God's grace and His hand over our trip. Perfect weather for every activity. And just so much awesomeness. Every single one of them made the trip memorable in their own way. Pillow fights, leghair fights, water fights, paddling fights. Thank you Mervyn for everything you've done to make it a success! :D

On a side note I love bargaining!! Honestly. The stuff there can be cut by like 75%. It's insane how much they jack up the price by! Nice trip to Thailand for more bargaining power man!! Hahahaha! ;)

And surfing was damn fun!! A lot of abrasion though. :/ Hahahah! My favorite was white water rafting! Our guide was damn funny. He will suddenly hit the water making a loud snapping sound and say it's a croc. Then he'd splash us with water from the back and point upwards 'Cheeky monkey.' Hahahah! He made us backpedal into the rock wall many times okay! Gosh! Hahahah damn fun.

Snorkeling was awesome though some hiccups at the start. The world is awesome! All of us just held hands and kicked together, making sounds to point out stuff! (: I saw a squid! Hahaha and started singing Boomdeyada. Damn funny.

Okay running out of time to post. Shall post about CF later. (:

But really thank God for His grace and protection over us! I have an awesome father in heaven! (:

It's been a year since last year's FOA. And as I think back, so much has changed.

I remember having lots of fun with Yuen and the sec school boys who were bullying Jake every sectional. The stress we faced cause there was so much to do. But yet for that day we just forgot everything and lost ourselves in the performance. (:

It was awesome.

I recall the exhilaration as the curtains fell. The joy when Mr Phua and Ms Wan gave us the thumbsup and beamed at us. Hahahaha the final scream we gave to end the episode. It's over! Hahaha curry and fried food here I come!!! :P

I remembered receiving flowers. Taking photos. There was one in particular that raised questions in my head. What could this mean? Did the giver intend it to mean anything? I could never tell.

It's been a year. So much has changed.

We don't even talk anymore. Not that we ever did. It was always over, just that I didn't know.

But it's okay. Cause we learnt from our mistakes. And I'm quite happy with how this ended. I can't say I've forgotten how it affected me, but I still do remember the good times we've all shared. The laughter and the smiles.

I can say for sure I won't ever forget.

Okay so it's been a while since I've been back from camp and honestly, I'm so so thankful for all that God has blessed me with.

A loving family who've always been there for me, an all-loving God who pulls me closer to Him in times of need, numerous mentors that have made me the person I am. Confident in my own identity.

After camp, I saw the great difference between Christians and most non-Christians. The former has this deep confidence in their identities in Christ while the latter mostly still stumbles around, lost and searching for a meaning, for acceptance. It pained my heart so to see them like that. :/

To lose yourself in alcohol and grinding up against guys you barely even know is that called having fun? I really doubt so.

To have these light strobes shining down on you yet your face still hidden in darkness, is that the kind of person you want to be known as? Your body recognized in the dark but not your face in the light. Idk. Okay maybe so it isn't that bad but yeah. The whole losing who you are in a crowd in a dark noisy club with dizzyingly glaring lights. :/

Many times I've thought of what I'd be like if I had not been brought up in such a loving Christian family. And I'll just go into a panic and cringe because I truly cannot fathom being lost like that.

It's tragic.

Things here in SMU are really different. :/ Idk what to say but anyway they're calling us to gather. Shall post later while everyone is asleep.

Ftb starts today! Excited but apprehensive about the people in my OG. Please let them be friendly and thoroughly awesome people. Protect all of us and help me find good friends! Be with me throughout the entire camp so that I can seek comfort and security in your presence.

Take me to that place Lord, where there's nothing else but me and you.

Wow. It's been such a long time! And I've been having so much fun! Signing up for all the camps and meeting people! I think SMU is really not as bad as people say. At least not yet.

So far I've met really nice people!

Okay just an update on my life. It's for recording history. Mostly for me. I doubt anyone reads this anyways.

1) Went for my BTT last Monday!! Heehee. And passed!! Woohoo. Okay it really is very easy. Extremely amused at the computerized system. And one poor fella I was taking with pressed the wrong button and ended his test before he keyed in any answers! Ouch man. Felt so bad for him.. But yay thank God for letting me pass!! .__. And got my PDL. Which reminds me I gotta book my practical lesson.

2) Went out to meet my parents' banker on an update on the portfolio. Been trying to pick up stuff and know more about managing my parents' portfolio.. What are the benchmarks to a balanced one.. And just noting stuffs about how it's managed.

Then later we had a little tour of the city around the city area. Had a great awesome funtastic time honestly. I have the best parents in the world!!! (: Awesome time camwhoring and random stuffs.

3) Went out for a bank talk with my parents and older bro (yay he finally has time to come along). Guess where! Shangri-La Hotel!! Woots. The food was great. Esp. the dessert. The talk was great! With Paul Donovan and Kelvin Tay. The former is an economist and the latter our investment strategist. They're v funny!! Although there are quite a lot of terms I have to get used to. E.g. AxJ but at least I could follow. (: Quite exciting being able to understand and apply our knowledge!

4) Went down to SMU for Freshman Experience Day! It was super crowded okay. Felt so lost. Paid for my camps I online-registered for and got cajoled into joining SMUX. Hahaha! Met two new friends. Darn can't rmbr their names. But one from Law I'll see during SMUX camp! And the other during Bondue and FTB I think! Yups! (: Oh and the last guy Dylan. I have no idea where he appeared from but I rmbred his name LOL. Oops.

Then met Divya, my sec sch classmate!! Whoaaaa. Hahaha it's been so long. Honestly. But yup, she was accompanying her friend. Called Agnes. And I persuaded her to attend SMUX with me! Hahaha ohman I should do marketing. I'm honestly quite persuasive.

Then I got Ben to sign up for SMUX too LOLOLOL. She hasn't paid me back yet. >:/ Hahah kidding.

5) Had church followed by Children Ministry performance rehearsal for our church anniversary. Ooh I like the dance and I got the dance down already. Tammie and I are gna be leading the children downstage on that day.. Hahaha v cute though, the skippers. And I was so happy with the CM campers! They were so enthu about the dance especially my P4s! They volunteered to come up and demo the dance with me!! Hahaha. So much pride there. (:

Then went to practice swimming at Tessensohn Club (omg I never knew it was spelt like that!) Cause SMUX requires those without cert to go for this test. Anyways the club is so pretty now after they renovated!! Love the bathrooms and the spa pool! Hahaha the spa water was so hot at first then Josh and I were like ouch ouch!! Owwww! Then the guys in the other pool were like judging us. Pfft. But yeah was great!!

6) Went down to SMU pool for my test. Was quite alright. Passed. (: Met awesome girls. Nadiah, Jia Li, Bahira, Li Jia, Wing Yao and some other I forgot oops! But yeah it was quite nice and they were all v friendly. (: One of our friends couldn't complete the test but we stayed by her. (: We were saying we should crash the pool sometime! Hahaha.

7) Went down to.... SMU. Again! Hahaha for comm service talk. Apparently we can't claim hours unless we went. But it was actually pretty nice and exciting. Went alone but met a guy who was siting next to me. Eugene. Quite cool, he set up his own tuition agency and now giving schools talks on saving money. Hahaha so cute right. Like little kids. Then must ask them to save their pocket money. (: Sounds so cool la. Must ask him more about it next time. He's in the same Bondue run as me and also in SMUX. (: The first act of SMU chivalry experienced. He walked me to the Bras Basah MRT even though he was going to walk to Dhoby! Hahaha. I think my life in SMU should be pretty exciting la. ;) Hopefully I meet nice guys and nice girlfriends to hang out with!

So yup. Now home. But going out for tuition soon... (: God has really blessed me with so much honestly.
