okay havent really been blogging for relatively long. okay actually i typed some that day, but was too tired to continue. do remind me though, i tend to say nevermind. o_o if it bugs you that i dont continue what i'm saying, do tell me to continue. sometimes i lose my train of thought or i dont know how to express myself.
anyway. i've been speaking quite frankly now more than ever.
more direct. "So untender, my lord, and true."
is this easier then? i'm not sure what it'll do to friendships. if i would lose any o_o which would make me really sad. i hope i dont though, lose friends that is. well you'll never lose me.
i'll always be your friend. but as i've been saying, when everythings all so ambiguous and vague and full of hints, it gets tiring. guess guess guess.
i've been reading boundless.org articles. too much, people would say. its not helpful, people say.
but well, to me it is. because when they quote bible verses, well it really speaks to me. Father is gently guiding me. to be a better daughter. to be a better person. to be more and more into His likeness- His initial purpose.
i know it may seem insincere to some of you. if need be i'll apologize to you face to face. but honestly, i'm really sorry. for being vague. for being sarcastic. for being disrespectful.
i once thought it was part of my nature to be teasing and poking fun at people. but. well, just like how this person wrote it.
I tend to sometimes become too sarcastic with others, and a couple years ago a friend of mine gave a bible study on how we interact with others.
The definition of sarcasm is: "a sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain" (Merriam-Webster)
Obviously, when put this way, is there really ever a circumstance where sarcasm should be included in the conversation of a Christian? If we are called to build others up, obviously this detracts from that goal.
Another point is that sarcasm is often masked by saying that we are not serious, and that the person should "lighten up". However, in Proverbs 26:18-19 it states: "18 Like a madman shooting firebrands or deadly arrows 19 is a man who deceives his neighbor and says, 'I was only joking!'" This passage really convicted me, because I know I had used that excuse before.
So, hopefully we can all realize the power of our words, and that we have the power to build up or cut down with every word we say.(from: http://www.boundlessline.org/2007/12/why-guys-need-o.html)
yeah, i'm sure other people are pondering too. to what extent is having fun acceptable and pleasing to God. well, no i'm not saying God is not someone who frowns at you and commands us to stop having fun.
on the contrary, john 10:10. He came that we may have life, and life TO THE FULL (in other versions, abundantly) well, i've always maintained that God is one who is very close to us, He wants us to enjoy life IN HIM. He loves us and would rejoice when we are joyful IN HIM. notice one thing:
eveything we do, He would want us to involve Him. thats the point of Him creating us. to connect with Him. because the Trinity had so much love within them, that they wanted to share it. so do involve Abba Father in everything you do. He'll never leave us nor forsake us. Joshua 1:5
gah okay huge digression there. but anyway, yeah. the point i'm trying to bring across is that this is a God of love (as well as other contrasting qualities such as justice) and i think He'd want us to have fun without hurting others. so be sensitive, be aware of others. consider others higher than yourselves. it all comes down to humility as well.
i really have a lot to change. o_o well, humans are fallible.
in any case, i also learnt how women should live. quiet, meek, always in fear of the Lord, being aware of whether our actions dis/please God. as below
The Bible is so clear on what kind of beauty God cherishes that it almost makes me wince. 1 Peter 3 tells us:
Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.
That's it. What beauty is of great worth to our God? Inner beauty — a gentle and quiet spirit.(from: http://www.boundless.org/2005/articles/a0002034.cfm)
was reading some about sarcasm la. does it build up people or does it tear people down?

hey cool. o_o hahaha nvm just found it.
anyway ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."

WOW, the Bible's so exciting! so alive and so true. so much more to learn! :D
