Fairytale, really?
but it was never meant to be a fairytale. life's not perfect, life has its ups and its downs. what we have is more than a perfect story. we have a lifestory.

in life there's sure to be sorrow and disappointments. but its the darkness that makes the moon and stars shine brighter. and we know that through it all, we can trust that God's there for us. lighting up our life paths even at its darkest hours. bringing us unfathomable joy.
because He himself is Hope.

hahaha ohgosh. i just saw the cutest version of "how deep is your love" LOL the first few i saw were like, zzz. but this one! hahaha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQvGvm4-AwQ&feature=related awesome la. :D

anyway, had choir today. i guess it really has become sort of like a refuge for me. a place where i can just relax and have fun! love singing! hahaha. (: i really dont know why but i really love choir now!!! hahaha, i'm so sorry i tried to skip practices last year. but its k, i'll make it up this year!! enthu all the way! :D

haha, ohman. i have prague/olomouc and church camp on the same week! ): noooooo. i want to go both! haha but but. yuen says we can have bible study at night at pragueeeee. zomg so awesome right :D it be so funnnnn. haha!

anyway choir has much stuff coming up, hope i can cope. its just one after another :X i dont know. surrender it all i guess. (: do my best for everything.

in any case, i still have much work to do :X bahhhh, english. LOL i should start soon. nvm. meow. this not be working much. sigh. okayyyyy. haha.

oh right, today's uh, whats that called. devotion? kinda struck me today. 1 peter 5:5-6. "young men, in the same way, be submissive towards those who are older. all of you, clothe yourself with humility towards one another, for 'God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble'. humble yourself therefore, under God's mighty hand that He may lift you up in due time." kinda relevant i guess. we all need grace.

a servant leader. in order to lead, you have to humble yourself to serve others. to really just see things from another perspective (even if it may be from someone lower ranking than you). and to love those who are ocstracised and ignored.

its quite difficult sometimes. to serve others cause of man's pride and all. but yeah, pride is the path of destruction. so i learnt today, serve others. "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:45 i think.

really, when i think back on all those times i forced myself to memorise verses, it didnt mean much cause i didnt meditate on every single verse. but now all these verses that i've memorised, just jumps out at me from the back of my mind.

i think these verses are quite difficult to apply but these are the path to righteousness, to being more like Christ. (: just takes determination and very strong self-awareness. "Do nothing out of selfish ambitions or vain conceit. but in humility, consider OTHERS BETTER THAN YOURSELVES. each of you should not only look to your own interests, but to the interests of others." others first. give others the best.

i really dont know la. quite a lot of verses lol talking about humility. i guess it is super important.

oh and uh, today was quite fun lol. i arm wrestled with yaseer. LOL, i got owned cause my wrist hurt after that. but hey, i pushed his arm back some. haha k idk. i was just bored.

:D choir was fun. hahaha. mrs wan is so cute. haha, what the. the whole bunch of us on the floor lying on each others stomach. haha, i was laughing and poor alison... got her head bobbing up and down. LOL. anyhow choir was kinda fun. i think we must enthu. LOL CHERYL YOU SAID MUST ENTHU ABOUT CHOIR. YOU MUST ENTHU TOO K!!!! ):

hehehe, was studying outside broadway. i realised that its super nice to study there. haha, very breezy. OH OH, but. hahaha as i looked at our school compound i realised its quite nice to study. shall stay over at school with benazir next time!! (: hehe, oh yes. and stargaze! haha yuen said its suuuuuper fun! hahaha! so cool la.

LOL. i rmb that time... i was "stargazing" with daughter at the astroturf!! haha, i cant rmb why lol. but but, it was super funny. LOL. epic. its like, two people. trying to stargaze at a starless sky. hahaha, i rmb we were laughing like mad la.

yes the sky lol. we spotted a few stars when we looked carefully though. its odd how we lose sight of them so easily once we lose focus. in the same way, we must focus on the promises of God, if not once we lose our focus on what He has already blessed us with, we may just think that He is no longer there, that His promises dont hold true (Numbers 23:19, "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change his mind, does He speak and then not act, does He promise and not fulfil?").

in all things, look to Him. cause you know He'll never leave you nor forsake you. just remain in Him, the prince of Perfect Peace :D alliteration. ahahaha.

okay i dont know why. i feel like i'm turning my blog into some kind of preaching or sharing or sth. hope whoever's reading dont mind. blogs are for sharing thoughts anyway. and i hope whatever i share is helpful to your walk with God!!! (:
