Awshucks Children's Camp is over!!!! So super fast okay, honestly. :( Not long enough. Hahahah. Okay it was a lot of work for Neo and Deborah already but just wish it was longer. Heheheheh.
Anyways it was great fun!! Hahahaha. It reminded me why I love kids. They have such openness to them. They never fail to amuse me. Hahahah. But they can really make you feel like you've known them for super long in such a short time!!! The BBGB kids were soooo friendly!!! Hahahaha. And it was such a joy and a personal prayer fulfilled, seeing them interact with each other and laughing and bonding. :D It was just awesome. I just pray that the friendships can last and that during the afterglow we'll have more time to exchange facebooks/numbers/emails, etc. :D Must keep in touch!!! Hahahaha.
And I'm so happy that the games and the activities turned out well. Even though some parts had some minor problems and hiccups we still had fun in the end. Like when it started raining at Shines (we were there for our High Elements challenge) we stayed in the hall for only about 1 hour (I think) before the rain stopped and we could continue! Hahahah kudos to Ps Jabez who was able to randomly come up with games to entertain them. Hahaha so amusing ohgosh. :D
And they enjoyed the gamessss!!! Happy dappy. :D Thank God that all went well and they were enthusiastic. Hehehehe. My stations were quite evil. Made them sing a song in the b-language. (Yesbes. Likebike thisbis. Teebee Heebee.) Made them do the paper trail nonsense. Heard the most about that. LOLOLOLOL. Okay so my stations weren't very easy. "Shout 'a type of food' loudly." "Chicken rice! Roti prata!!" Ps Jabez: "Wrong wrong! Restart!!!!" HAHAHAHA ohman. Epic win. Then had to go back to paper 1 and do starjumps, turn around 3 times, pretend they're their favourite animal, waddle like a duck etc etc. Hahahahah. I am meannnnnn :D Teehee. So fun though.
And it was just awesome. The nightwalk and the Quarry was beautiful. Hahahah I think it was very meaningful la. (: So glad our message made it through.
But thank you Team Jesus! For all the fun times!! Hahahaha ohman. Our group's kids were like super religious la, idk why also. Somemore mostly non-Christians LOLOLOL. Anyways our group pose was epic. Cause each group has a Youth leader, a Young adult leader and a Committee attached, so there were three leaders la. Then our group refused to do any pose so in the end we decided to do the Calvary scene. LOL. The three crosses and the crowd staring up. And guess who were the crosses. Ohman. But it was fun. I love my team leader and my YA leader la. Honestly. Hahahaha. They made everything so much fun and our failed attempts at rahrahing our group. LOLOLOLOL.
First day our cheer was like, Louisa: Three cheers and three cheers and three cheers for Team Jesus! Janice: Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray! Hahahahah ohman. Honestly. Both of us just broke down and laughed insanely. Super funny. Ohwells. :D
So much fun!!! :D Awesomeness.
And the last morning's session was amazing too. Like during ministry time, the speaker Ps Susan Ho was speaking to them about Jesus and how we were designed to shine. And we were designed to shine, with Jesus Christ as our light. And how the children responded! Wow. It was really touching to see them stand up without hesitation to receive Him. Prayers answered again. Hearts touched. That's just the first step. I pray that they'll always remember what they did yesterday and hold on to Him as their hope. Even if they don't, I know that yesterday is just the beginning of the amazing things that God is going to work in their lives. And I just feel so honored to be part of it. To be part of this effort. Galations 6:9 reminds me not to become weary in doing good, for in due time we shall reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Amen. :) Indeed we will! Hahahaha. This is the victory which is promised to us by God!!
Amazing.
Thank you God for totally owning this camp. Thank you for the friendships forged and the bonds created. Thank you for the children. For their open hearts and for their natural enthusiasm and liveliness. I pray for breakthroughs in their lives. That you will manifest yourself in them. Speak to them and answer any whispered prayers that are requested with that childlike faith of theirs. Thank you for your mighty presence that filled the camp and protected us while we had so much fun. (: Thank you for you. For your love. Thank you that you love your little children so and that you see them as precious gems that you specially designed so that they could shine for you. Thank you that I can be a beautiful ruby for you. :D Cause its red!
Oh yeah. On a side note, BTT in 8 hours. Ohdear. God, give me wisdom and understanding! Help me to discern which are the tricky questions!! Hahahah. In Jesus' most mighty name, Amen!
