hello. this is the verse of today! 'Hitherto you have asked nothing in my name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.' John 16:24

this verse shows us God's love for us, that all we have to do is ask and He will give. like Pastor bess said, God gives us a stack of infinite no of blank cheques. you can write any amount you want and just cash it. it's just that easy. just ask and you will receive. but sometimes, people have no faith so after asking once and their prayer is not answered, they stop asking God for stuff and are not persistent. just like if a transaction takes very long, most ppl will give up. or sometimes, we are afraid that we might use up all the cheques. but the truth is that God given us an infinite no of blank cheques and all our requests will be answered according to God's plan. He loves us very much and wants us to be happy. but if we dont ask Him for things we need and depend on Him, He will be very sad as you are depending on your own self. thats why Jesus said that it was easier for a camel to pass through a small hole than a rich man come into the kingdom of God. God is happy when you come to Him for help, even for little things. He is glad that you know that He not only can do big things but small things too. and that you depend on Him. Have faith and never give up.

so DONT WORRY so much, God is mighty and good and He will answer our prayers and His 'cheques' will not 'bounce'. even if your prayers are not answered immediately, be persistent in prayer. never give up.
